Amid the coronavirus outbreak, Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts is closed, but as it notes on its homepage, it’s “digitally open.”
That includes livestreaming performances and an expanded lineup of digital learning activities and workshops, which are all available for free online.
"All you need is an internet connection to join us in our Zoom room. We'll make it easy, we promise," the center says on its website.
While the performances are free to tune into, the center is asking people to consider donating.
“If you enjoy your FREE program, we ask that you consider supporting the Center for Puppetry Arts with a donation to help us through these difficult times,” a post on the center’s website reads.

Author and illustrator Mo Willems is also trying to help parents keep kids engaged, entertained and educated amid coronavirus. He is hosting daily livestream doodle session for kids stuck at home.
Author James Dean, who writes the popular "Pete the Cat" series, has also taken to social media to help keep kids entertained. He hosted a reading of his book on Instagram for kids at home.
