Now, every order placed on okabashi.com, oka-b.com, and explorethirdoak.com, will lead Okabashi Brands to donate a pair of shoes to healthcare workers in hospitals and institutions across the nation.

The company, which is headquartered in Buford, creates shoes with a patented, ergonomically designed foot bed that offers arch support to give comfort and stability for people who stand for long hours. The non-slip shoes are odor-resistant, water resistant and machine washable.

Every order on the Okabashi Brands websites will make an automatic donation to health care workers. Alternatively, customers can nominate a health care professional by filling out the online donation form on okabashi.com or oka-b.com. They can also recommend a health care worker by emailing Oka-B or Okabashi.

After filling out the form to include the health care worker’s name, hospital or institution, shoe size, phone number and mailing address, customers are encouraged to write an encouraging note to attach to the donation as a thank you for health care professionals’ work.
