Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary is seeking volunteers to cuddle and socialize with its pigs.

Cotton Branch provides "a safe haven for abandoned, abused, neglected, and elderly farm animals," its website states. Before its pigs, which were rescued from a hoarder, can be adopted, they have to be socialized. That's where the volunteers can help.

“Belly scratches, cookies, sitting with, and even just talking to our pig friends can get them ready for their new home,” the sanctuary wrote on a Facebook post.

There is no orientation required to participate, but you must be 18 or older. Sixteen- and 17-year-olds can volunteer if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Morning and afternoon cuddle sessions are available through March, but slots are filling up quickly. To find a time and sign up, click here.

Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary  is about three hours from Atlanta, in Leesville, SC.
