Temperatures are rising, and nothing is quite so appealing on a hot day as an icy-cold drink. Now, Wendy’s is making summertime more enjoyable by revealing their new strawberry Frosty.

“We’re always listening to our fans and as the most-requested item, it was a no-brainer for us to bring the Strawberry Frosty to the menu this season,” said Carl Loredo, Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company, in a press release.

The announcement came Monday that the chain will bring two new strawberry items to the menu for a limited time. In addition to the Frosty, Wendy’s also unveiled the new strawberry chicken salad, which features freshly sliced strawberries, applewood smoked bacon and grilled chicken, all topped off with an Italian cheese blend, candied almonds and a sweet Champagne vinaigrette.

“While some of our competitors are still trying to get their ice cream machines to work, fans can dip into this new strawberry treat all summer long at Wendy’s,” added Loredo.
