Rick Ross’ Promise Land estate is adding lions to its zoo, and they look ferocious. The rapper took to Instagram to announce the news, showing off a video of his new pets from their enclosure in Senegal.

“My pet cats ready to come home,” Ross said in the post.

This, of course, will only be the latest installment at the Promise Land Zoo, a sprawling complex filled with horses, buffalo and Ross’s opulent 44,234 square-foot mansion.

Ross purchased the Promise Land estate back in 2014. The mega-mansion, which has 109 rooms, formerly belonged to boxing legend Evander Holyfield, who built it back in 1994.

A 135-seat theater, 100-person dinging room and a bowling alley are just some of the amenities that fill the rapper’s metro Atlanta home. The house was recently featured as the Zamunda palace in Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America 2. The estate also earned a film credit in 2018′s Superfly.

While the home is stunning it its own right, Ross decided to expand the property after buying it. He had new ideas — and it all started with a cow.

The Promise Land Zoo has a bull, several horses and buffalo. Speaking to TMZ, Ethika’s Director of Brand Operations Darius Burton said that the buffalo were a gift to the music mogul.

“We are gifting Ross these Buffalo after a conversation at his birthday party back in January,” Burton said. “I wanted to get him a giraffe but he wasn’t ready for that commitment so he said let’s start smaller, like a cow. I said nah, everyone has cows, I want you to have something nobody in your state has, I’m getting you a Buffalo.”

Ross recently hosted his first car show at the Promise Land, which featured a laundry list of celebrities, rappers and eye-popping luxury hotrods. Speaking to TMZ, the rapper said that he expected over 4,000 people in attendance.

“The stage is huge,” Ross said. “I’m gonna leave it open for all the Atlanta big boys, all the superstars. I just expect to be huge.”
