Popular baby brand Babyganics is recalling two of its bubble bath products due to possible bacterial contamination.

The affected products are two lots of 20-ounce bottles of chamomile verbena bubble bath that were sold in the U.S. within the last two months. The bottles have UPC number 8 13277 01375 4 with lot codes Y314 and Y315 on the bottom, according to a news release.

Internal testing revealed that the products contained Pluralibacter gergoviae bacterium, which is found naturally in the environment in plants, soil and coffee beans, the San Francisco-based company stated on its website. Typically, the bacteria will not make a healthy person ill, but someone who is immunocompromised or who has broken or irritated skin can have a risk of infection.

Although no illnesses have been reported, the company says it is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to do so.

“If you confirm you have affected product, please use this website to request a refund and dispose of your product. We advise that if the product has not been used or opened, please do not use it. If the product has been opened, please do not use the product again and close it and dispose,” the company said.

Babyganics advises anyone who has been exposed to an affected product and is not feeling well to see a doctor. They also state that customers can reach the company’s safety experts at 833-359-6304, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
