Metro Atlanta “Voice” contestants Gymani, Peedy Chavis and Shadale Johnson all made it to the live shows this season.

By Tuesday night, only 13 of the 20 will still be around after the top 20 performed Monday night and America voted.

All three have had strong performances to date and could very well make it to the next round.

Here are summaries of the first live performances of the year:

Gymani

Team: Kelly Clarkson

Cover: A Great Big World’s “Say Something”

Style: Soulful pop

Response: All the coaches gave her very refined interpretation of the pop song a standing ovation.

Blake Shelton: “Fantastic! You’ve trained us. When you get on stage, we know something incredible is about to happen. I was literally at the edge of my seat... I have no doubt you’ll be moving on.”

Kelly: “That was really good. But I want to be specific. You’ve done a really good job the whole time. But tonight was you showcasing the softer, more intimate side of you, too. You did such a good job with the arc of the story. By the end, we’re all cheering for you. You were so beautifully broken.”
