The Historic Roswell District is home to historic homes, art galleries, restaurants, breweries, community events and parks — and soon, the area’s first luxury boutique hotel.

Officials announced in January that Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, based in San Francisco, will open a boutique hotel in early 2024 to complement the vision of the West Alley mixed-use development next to Gate City Brewing Company and the rest of the Canton Street strip.

The three-story hotel will be located on Mimosa Boulevard and Magnolia Street and “will provide a perfect place for Georgia residents to grab a bite to eat, a drink with friends or a much-needed staycation and allow visiting leisure and business guests a central hub to explore and enjoy all this vibrant city has to offer,” according to a press release.

The Kimpton hotel will feature 125 rooms as well as indoor meeting and event space, a fitness center, a rooftop restaurant and a ground-floor restaurant and bar. Morning coffee and tea service, a hosted evening social hour, pet-friendly policies and bicycles will also be available at the hotel.
