Nothing breaths new life into a living space quite like a quality renovation. Artistically crafted interior design can elevate moods, express passions and provide comfort.

But these interior design items will accomplish absolutely none of those things.

“Sorry for design” is an Instagram account with a particular purpose, bringing the internet’s attention to some of the weirdest interior design decor items dreamed up by mankind. From taxidermy animals turned into storage space to everyday furniture deformed into something uncomfortably erotic, it’s a portfolio of interior design gone wrong.

As wrong as the decor items seem, they are certainly fascinating to look at. Here is a breakdown of five of the strangest interior design jobs features on the social media website.

For starters, there is the bathroom that takes floral patterns to the extreme. The bathroom looks less decorated in flower design and more infested by it.

For the “Fast and the Furious” fans out there looking for a new table to show off their car miniature collectables, there is the Vin Diesel table. As long as you don’t turn a corner into the room in the middle of the night, the decor will hopefully not be too startling.

The table visual comes courtesy of Zyva Studios, a Paris-based design studio.

Whoever decked out this bathroom must have had a “Burning Love” for The King. Accessorized with a disco ball and Siegfried and Roy poster, the bathroom is wrapped in Elvis Presley angel wallpaper. Whatever is not touched by the blue hue wallpaper has been painted over with a matching blue color for an uncomfortably monochrome look.

It is unclear if the decorator was aware that the rock icon passed away in his own bathroom, or if it was simply an odd attempt at levity. Either way, there is one Presley song that comes to mind — “Too Much!”

Speaking of the bathroom, this unique lamp was presumably destined for it. Protruding from the head of a dog hunched over... Perhaps this lamp is better seen than described.

When interior designers discuss statement lighting, it seems unlikely that this is the light fixture that comes to mind. All the same, it’s certainly a conversation piece. No house guest would dare forget it.

Veggie fans are in for a treat, if they desire to express their culinary passion through furniture. The corn cobb nightstand is such a delicious designer treat that it has been crafted to look like a giant decided to have a quick snack out of it.

While out of place in the bedroom, perhaps the nightstand would make a wonderful picnic table for one.
