Poison frontman Bret Michaels has purchased a Los Angeles mansion for $5,471,000, according to TMZ. Located in Westlake Village, the California estate is 5,461 square feet. From the wine room to the outdoor kitchen, the five bedroom vacation home comes with a number of luxury offerings to ensure it can host the most demanding rock star parties.

Michaels is no stranger to the gated community, having once lived across the street in a home he sold for $4.28 million back in 2020. Following a successful stadium tour, Michaels — who mostly calls Arizona home — was on the market for a new vacation home when he decided to purchase the L.A. mansion.

“Features include a wine cellar, multiple sets of pocket doors and designer finishes throughout,” Realtor Jordan Cohen said on social media of the California vacation home’s listing. “The grounds boast a custom pool, long fire feature, basketball court and approximately 1,000 square feet of covered patio. A very special estate! Extremely proud to represent the buyer and seller in the deal.”

Michael’s owned his former Westlake Village vacation home for five years, having purchased it for $3.49 million in 2015. The 2.6-acre estate featured a Mediterranean-style mansion equipped with a pool, spa, cabana, manicured lawns, stone patios and a sports court.

At 6,700 square feet, the six bedroom and 6.5 bathroom mansion was significantly larger than his new vacation home across the street.

A month after selling his former vacation home in 2020, Michaels purchased a $4.8 million mansion in the Conejo Valley of Calabasas. At 6,000 square feet, the home rests on a half-acre of land that offers “one of the best views I’ve ever seen in California,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

“This property was a unique find,” Michaels previously told the news organization. “When you walk in and look out almost any window, you get a view of the entire valley almost to the ocean.”
