Kenny Rogers, a country music legend and longtime Atlanta resident, passed away in 2020 at the age of 81. Since then, Rogers’ opulent Atlanta mansion has been on and off the market — even making headlines for its notorious reputation as a “party house” since his passing. Now Rogers’ former Atlanta mansion, known locally as Lionheart Mansion, is for sale once again. This time, a seller is looking for someone to return the home to its “full glory.”

Listed at $3,950,000, the mansion is sprawling — more than 22,000 square feet of space. The home features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and five half bathrooms. Located in the heart of Buckhead, the massive five-acre estate is only one of many glamorous offerings available in Atlanta’s most luxurious housing community. But few come with as much music history.

Once you have made it past the fountain and walked up the rising steps to the front door, you’re greeted by a grand foyer and fireside sitting area. Nearby, there is a formal dining room and formal living room with coffered ceilings. The kitchen features a full butler’s pantry, a sprawling island and a sizable breakfast nook.

Near the fireside family room, on the main floor, is a guest bedroom with a sitting area and private bathroom that features his and her vanities. The master suite has steep vaulted ceilings and its own fireplace, while the master bathroom includes a wet bar, his and her vanities, a soaking tub, his and her water closets and a fireplace.

Three more bedrooms are found upstairs, each with its own private bathroom. There is also a home gym and a sauna, as well as a full basement with another bathroom. Just outside, there is a large patio that overlooks an in-ground pool, spa and a cabana equipped with a bar.
