Country music star Jo Dee Messina has placed her Atlanta mansion on the market. Messina, the first female country musician to have three consecutive multi-week, chart-topping songs, recently listed her Georgia home for $3 million. The “Heads Carolina, Tails California” singer’s Georgia pad is a sprawling 5,000 square feet and features a number of luxurious amenities designed for entertaining guests and relaxing in privacy.
“The 5,000-square-foot home is perfect for entertaining and features a large bright kitchen with a 4′ x 8′ island and a dining and sitting area with a fireplace,” Messina’s media representative 117 Entertainment said in a press release. “The southern home also includes a formal dining room, an office that currently doubles as a music room for the country music hitmaker and a living room with a fireplace with a gas starter.”
The five-acre estate also features a sprawling backyard of amenities, as well as a one-bedroom apartment.
“The serene and private backyard boasts a beautiful salt system heated pool and hot tub with a PebbleTec finish and a screened-in back porch,” 117 Entertainment said. “In addition to the main living areas, the home also includes a one-bedroom apartment with a full-sized kitchen, living and dining rooms, a full bathroom and separate laundry. The apartment has its own private entrance making it ideal for a personal trainer, nanny, and friends and family.”
Messina most recently hit the stage for the 2023 CMA Fest, the longest running country music festival in the world. The four-day festival featured country music heavy hitters Luke Combs, Erich Church, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and dozens of other performers.
Messina gained popularity in 1996 with the release of her hit single “Heads Carolina, Tails California.” Over the past decades, the country musician has amassed nearly a billion streams across Pandora, Spotify and YouTube.
