Former Atlanta Hawks player and NBA Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady has sold his Texas mansion, the “Sweet Sugar Land Castle.” After purchasing the 23,652-square-foot estate for $6.3 million back in 2004, according to Realtor.com, the retired player ultimately walked away with a significant profit.

Built in 1999, the estate comes with nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. From the limestone floors to the carved wood ceiling, the mansion comes equipped with a number of lavish features.

The primary bedroom suite is perhaps the most extravagant feature of the home, as the suite takes up an entire wing of the mansion.

Some of the other bedrooms come with their own lofts and themes. The mansion features an elevator, game room, gym, basketball court and a home theater. The home also features department store-sized personal closets and four different fireplaces.

The estate features two acres of space on a golf course lot within the gated community of the Sweetwater Estates. Outside the home, there are Versailles-like gardens, a spa, pool and a guesthouse.

The guesthouse includes its own kitchen and bath, and is paired with a six-car garage.

McGrady played for seven NBA teams throughout his career, including a short stint with the Hawks. McGrady purchased the “Sweet Sugar Land Castle” after being signed to the Houston Rockets.

McGrady served as an ESPN analyst after retiring from basketball.
