There is nothing quite as comforting as being treated like royalty. For those with deep enough pockets, there is a mansion in Michigan that can grant a taste of that noble lifestyle. It’s a castle with comforts fitting of hits $2.5 million price tag — not to mention a drawbridge to match.

“King’s & Queens, are you looking to live an extraordinary life of adventure free from peasants?” the property’s Sotheby’s International Realty listing said. “This Medieval castle on 6+ acres surrounded by a wrought iron fence and two gated towers is the perfect private palace.”

The home’s construction took the better half of a decade to complete, featuring 60 tons of steel and artisanal craftsmanship. Over four stories tall, the castle features a moat, waterfall, drawbridge, portcullis (grated gate), 26 rooms , an elevator, five fireplaces, six furnaces, a wine cellar, a “Tudor style” pub and much more.

Some of the estate’s features are even kept secret. The castle includes secret rooms, secret doors, hidden passageways and what the listing calls “a few more surprises.”

It took over $10 million to build the estate, another $100,000 for recent window and door upgrades and $20,000 in electrical upgrades. Circa 1990, the castle features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and four garage spaces.

The castle covers 6,106 square feet atop a 6.25 acre estate.

The home’s incredible offerings even earned it a shoutout from Zillow Gone Wild, the real estate website’s home for the country’s most unique and extravagant offerings.
