Photos: Inside an ICU during the omicron outbreak
An AJC photographer was granted access to the intensive care unit at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, Ga., to document how that hospital has been coping with another wave of critically ill patients, this time driven by the omicron variant.

At the Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s Braselton hospital, all 24 hospital beds in the intensive care unit are filled, 18 of them with COVID-19 patients.
