Fashion house Coperni knows how to put on a show for Paris Fashion Week.

At this week’s Paris Fashion Week, model Bella Hadid raised eyebrows as she strutted onto an empty, all white platform in only thong underwear with her hands strategically placed over her chest.

The audience waited as she stopped in the middle and was joined by two people holding what seemed to be spray painting guns. After a suspenseful moment, they began painting a dress directly onto Hadid’s body.

One of the painters, Monel Torres, Ph.D., was responsible for the development of the spray-on fabric.

“We wanted to dedicate this moment to Dr. Torres, because we respect what he does so much,” Arnaud Vaillant told Vogue. “We felt that it was absolutely necessary that he led the performance — to us, that makes the experience even more magical.”

Coperni is known as a do-it-yourself type of fashion house, and it’s no stranger to taking risks and thinking outside the box. Earlier this year, for example, the label showcased hand-blown glass handbags.

This isn’t the first show Coperni snagged Hadid for, she was also a part of the Autumn Winter Campaign, and starred in a video for the collection, called “Coming of Age.”

In other Fashion Week news, Kanye West was one of the many models to stomp down the muddy stage created by Balenciaga for its “041 Ye” collection.
