The 1992 classic “White Men Can’t Jump” featuring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson is getting a makeover starring rapper Jack Harlow.

While doing press for his upcoming Netflix action-comedy, “The Man From Toronto”, Harrelson had positive things to say about the reboot.

“I’m feeling great about it,” said Harrelson to Yahoo, “They’re gonna make a better movie than we made. I’m looking forward to watching it.”

The reboot was written by comedy guru Kenya Barris who created “Black-ish” and “Girls Trip.” The new cast will feature Billboard Award-winning rapper Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls — best known for his character in the STARS hit show “Power” — as the leads.

Some have wondered if there will be any cameos in the reboot. Harrelson was presented with this question while sitting on a panel and had this to say:

“No, I think that’s really cool they’re doing that but I mean … Yeah, I can’t see reprising that role or even a cameo. No, I mean, I’m glad they’re doing it and I hope it’s great! Hell, I hope it’s better than the original! But … I can’t see going down there, and getting down in Venice and pumping up my sneakers.”

The project will be Harlow’s first acting gig and he’s taking the job seriously.

“You know, I did the work to get it. I put the time in with the script. I sat with it. I considered things. I tried to be egoless during the audition, take notes, do what I had to do. I just want to kill it. I just want to be good and I want to do everything I can to make it good.” said Harlow in an interview.
