Three generations of the Presley family attended a special screening of the upcoming biopic about their family patriarch, Elvis, in his hometown of Memphis.

Elvis’ former wife Priscilla Presley, his daughter Lisa Marie Presley and granddaughters Riley Keough, and Harper and Finley Lockwood were all in attendance. Dressed in all black, the family was all smiles after the premiere.

Actress Riley Keough was very impressed with the film, praising it in her Instagram post from the premiere saying, “Thank you to @bazluhrmann for bringing the film to Graceland.”

The Baz Luhrmann-directed film, which arrives in US theaters on June 24, stars Austin Butler as Elvis Presley, received a 12-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival.

In an Instagram post praising the film after its Cannes Premiere, Priscilla Presley said, “Butler’s performance as Elvis was mesmerizing.”

The film also stars Tom Hanks as Elvis’ controversial manager Colonel Tom Parker, as well as Olivia Dejonge, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

Lisa Marie also praised Butler’s performance in May, saying, “If he doesn’t get an Oscar for this, I will eat my own foot.”

She also lamented that her late son, Benjamin Keough, was not able to see the film, but said “He would have absolutely loved it as well.”

She went on to thank Luhrmann for his portrayal of her father, saying he set “the record straight in such a deeply profound and artistic way.”

The late King of Rock & Roll has seen an increased spike in relevancy due to the promotion of the film, with a whole new generation being introduced to his star power. While critics’ reactions to the film have been mixed, audiences seem excited to see Elvis on the big screen.
