Actor and rapper Nick Cannon recently spilled the beans on who his fantasy love his.
While on the “The Hot Tee Talk Show” Cannon didn’t shy away from playing the games that usually land guests in the hot seat. When the show’s “Spin the Block” game came around, the “Drumline” actor was asked about his ex-wife, pop diva Mariah Carey.
The game asks guest to say if they would have another go around the block with their ex-partner or move on. Cannon happily answered where he stood with their relationship and revealed he would never have a love like Carey again — that she will “always be his baby.”
“It was literally like a fairytale with Mariah so I would rather it just be that way,” Cannon continued. “I appreciate that fantasy because if I tried to go back and it wasn’t the same, I’d be like, ‘Damn, I messed it up.’ But, if I had the opportunity, if it could be the way it was, I’m there.”
Carey and Cannon wed in 2008 and filed for divorce in 2016. The two share a set of twins, Monroe and Moroccan. Cannon is expecting his eight child and gave a hint of another one on the way. When asked about Carey’s new boyfriend, Cannon had nothing but positive words.
“The dude is amazing with my kids and we got family gatherings and things together, so I truly respect it,” he said. “But come on, that’s my fantasy love. That’s somebody that I will always love.”
In 2020, Cannon was fired from his hit show “Wild ‘n Out” over anti-semitic comments. Later that year, Cannon released an apology. Since then, Cannon and MTV have repaired their relationship and “Wild ‘n Out” is currently in its 18th season on MTV.
