Comedy icons Cedric the Entertainer and Anthony Anderson are teaming up on a new project — but it’s not a new sitcom.

Instead the pair are launching a new barbecue label, AC Barbeque, as well as a new A&E series that will see them learning the ropes from pitmasters across the country.

“Anthony and I are very excited to take our audience into the savory, smokehouse-filled, finger licking world of barbeque all across the United States,” Cedric the Entertainer said in a statement.

“The Neighborhood” star and the “Black-ish” alum have been friends for years. Not only have they both dominated the industry, but they also bonded over their love of BBQ.

The show will follow the two as they meet with many chefs, pitmasters and others who bleed BBQ as they gain the knowledge they’ll need to make their own AC Barbeque a success.

“The launch of AC Barbeque has been a lifelong dream for Cedric and I and we cannot wait to learn more about the craft and share our journey,” Anderson said.

Cedric the Entertainer is still playing his beloved character Calvin on the hit CBS show “The Neighborhood,” while Anderson is busy with a new project, an Amazon series called “Miraculous.”
