There are worse people to look like, we suppose.

A lieutenant in Alabama is going viral after the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of him to its Facebook page. The post led to a viral TikTok video.

“I’ve been called The Rock and Vin Diesel’s love child,” Lt. Eric Fields told Southern Living. “I go along with it. It’s humorous. It’s flattering. It could be worse people, I guess.”

The 37-year-old even does impressions of the two actors.

“I’ll play along,” Fields told AL.com. “I really couldn’t be anybody but me. I’m just glad I could be part of someone’s happiness and laughter.”

“IM GONNA BE SPEEDING DOWN HWY 36 TODAY AT APPROXIMATELY 4 0 CLOCK BLUE TRUCK I HAVE NO INSURANCE,” one person wrote on the Facebook post, which has more than 1,000 reactions and has been shared nearly 1,000 times.

Fields has been with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office for 17 years at the jail, in investigations, in the special victims unit, and with drug-endangered children. Now a lieutenant, he currently handles tactical training and serves as firearms instructor.
