If you’ve ever wanted to know how the other, four-legged half hangs when you’re not around, then head on over to Camp Bow Wow in Lawrenceville this Sunday. The doggy camp that offers both day and overnight services is throwing a One Year Anniversary “Paw-ty” and Open House for itself.

But not just for itself. Along with tours and staff meet-and-greets and other fun activities, there'll be a silent auction to support the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides urgent medical care funds to homeless dogs or ones whose human "parents" can't afford to pay their veterinary bills.

Dogs who are already enrolled as “campers” (they’ve previously gone through the Bow Wow interview process and met all the behavioral and medical requirements) can come on Sunday. Additionally, dogs with proof of vaccines are welcome to attend and tour the event (on leash) as well.

There’re no such stringent requirements for human attendees. But please, act like you’ve had your distemper shot anyway.

Sunday's "Paw-ty" is from 1-4 p.m. Camp Bow Wow is located at 585 Old Norcross Road in Lawrenceville. Additional information: 770-995-3500 or campbowwow.com/lawrenceville-ga
