For many kids, summer barely gets under way before they're saying, "I'm bored!"
Keep them happily occupied with a summer camp, and they'll be learning, staying active and making some great memories.
The following are seven North Fulton summer camps that are already taking registrations:
What's offered: Sports camp for rising 2nd-6th graders (ages 7-11). Eight one-week sessions feature a different sports concentration each week, and kids can take one week, all eight weeks, or anything in between.
Where: In the gym at Abbotts Hill Elementary, 5575 Abbotts Bridge Road, Johns Creek.
When: Drop-off is from 8:30-9 a.m., with camp starting at 9. Pick-up is from 1:30-2 p.m.
Week 1: May 30-June 3: a four-day week that offers a sampling of all four sports offered during the summer
Week 2: June 5-9: soccer
Week 3: June 12-16: basketball
Week 4: June 19-23: flag football
Week 5: June 26-30: All-American week covering sports such as kickball, dodgeball and others
Week 6: July 10-14: soccer
Week 7: July 17-21: basketball

Circus Camp and Advanced Aerial Camp,
What's offered: Children ages 5 and older (including teens) will learn circus skills such as trapeze, tightrope, juggling and magic. Circus professionals will present a live show every day, and campers stage a grand finale show at the end of camp.
Where:Epstein School, 335 Colewood Way NW, Sandy Springs. (additional locations in other counties).
When: Camp is from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Circus Camp is offered from June 12-16 and June 19-23, and Advanced Aerial Camp is also offered during these same weeks.
Cost: Circus Camp costs $295 per session for each child. Advanced Aerial Camp is $330 and after-camp aerial class is $40. A camp T-shirt can be purchased for $20.
What's offered: Camps are held for ages 7-9, 10-12 and 13-17, with topics including Intro to Java Coding, 3D Game Design: Minecraft and MCEdit, Adventures in Scratch Programming and Game Design & Development 101.
Where:Fulton Science Academy, 3035 Fanfare Way, Alpharetta.

What's offered: Drawing, painting, pottery, cartooning and jewelry classes for ages 5-12 are taught by professional artists who have completed all requirements necessary for Fulton County School System, including background checks.
Where: Alpharetta International Academy, 4773 Webb Bridge Road, Alpharetta.
When: Camp is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day for the following weeks: June 5-9, June 12-16, June 19-23, June 26-30, July 10-14 and July 17-21.
Cost: $250 per week, which includes supplies.

What's offered: Rock 101 Camp for ages 9-11 with little or no experience. They'll receive small-group instruction on their chosen instrument (drums, guitar, bass, keys or vocals) and play fun music-related games. Campers will also stage a performance.
Performance Camp: best for ages 12-18, this camp offers gear education, instruction about song parts, rehearsals, music-related activities and an end-of-camp performance. A basic proficiency on instruments is recommended.
Songwriting and Performance Camp: best for ages 12-18. Campers will learn the theory and techniques that go into songwriting and will create their own songs. Six months of experience with the instrument is required.
Where: School of Rock, 10900 Medlock Bridge Road, Suite 107, Johns Creek.
When: Rock 101 Camps are June 5-9 and July 10-14, Performance Camps are June 12-16 and July 17-21, and Songwriting Camp is June 19-30. Each camp is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily.
Cost: Rock 101 and Performance camps cost $425 each, and you can receive 25 percent off with the code EARLYCAMP17 if you enroll before April 1. Songwriting camp is $799.
What's offered: Kids will learn how to cook flavorful meals from American and world cuisines and will get to enjoy their creations each day. On the last day of camp, they can each invite a guest to share their feast.
Where: Salud is located inside of Whole Foods Market Avalon, 2800 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta.
When: June 5-9 and 10-14 for ages 6-9, June 12-16 and July 17-21 for ages 10-12, June 19-23 and July 24-28 for ages 13-15. Camp is held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Friday.
Cost: $250 per child per camp.
Georgia Ensemble Theatre Performing Arts Camp
What's offered: Three-day, one-week and two-week camps are offered for kids ranging from grade 2 to grade 12. Sessions vary and include topics such as movement, improvisation, sketch comedy, dance/choreography and classic and contemporary acting styles.
Where:Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest Street, Roswell.
