Canopy Walk, Botanical Garden expansion to open
The Atlanta Botanical Garden's $55 million expansion opens on Saturday, May 1, 2010 and includes a Canopy Walk through the tree tops of Storza Woods, a newly opened 15-acre woodlands; the tropical Cascades Garden, with large waterfalls surrounded by tropical plantings; and an Edible Garden with fruits and vegetables and Outdoor Kitchen.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden will open its $55 million expansion Saturday. It includes a 40-foot-high by 600-foot-long Canopy Walk through the treetops of Storza Woods, a newly opened 15-acre woodland; the tropical Cascades Garden with large waterfalls surrounded by tropical plantings; and the Edible Garden of fruits and vegetables and Outdoor Kitchen.
