When Atlantans go bowling, it seems they are loyal to a couple of businesses.

Bowling is one of those great activities you can enjoy alone or on a team. You can bowl any time of the year and at just about any age.

Maybe that's why nearly 10,000 people voted to determine what the best bowling venue in Atlanta is. But two choices — albeit with multiple locations — received more than 90% of the votes.

Finishing at No.4 was Midtown Bowl, which has been an Atlanta tradition since 1960. This "smoke-free facility features 32 premium bowling lanes, great food, fully stocked bar with an assortment of craft beers and a friendly staff," its website states.

Coming in at No. 3 was the Painted Pin, "an upscale boutique bar, bowking and entertainment venue" in Buckhead's Miami Circle.

None of our nominees came close to catching the top two venues, however.

The No. 2 choice, with 3,932 votes, was Stars and Strikes. Stars and Strikes is family friendly, with arcades, laser tag and bumper cars, in addition to bowling.

Who got more votes than Stars and Strikes?

Our 2019 winner of best bowling venue in Atlanta is Bowlero, with 4,761 votes. According to its website: "Parties at Bowlero totally redefine what it means to celebrate. Bowl, play games, pose for selfies, split a 6-lb burger, or host the best kids birthday ever." More than half our voters agree.
