Bowling is one of those great activities that can be enjoyed alone or on a team. You can bowl any time of the year and at just about any age.

More than 70 million people in the United States bowl each year, according to the United States Bowling Congress, and nearly 2 million of them compete regularly in league play.

But you don’t have to join a league to enjoy bowling. You don’t even have to own your own ball or shoes. And in Atlanta, you don’t have to drive far, either.

This week’s poll wants to know where you go when you have the need to set ’em up and knock ’em down.

Do you pick your alley based on the food you can get, like at Punch Bowl Social at The Battery?

Or do you choose based on how late the venue is open, like these six late-night options?

Whatever your criteria, here are your options for this week.

Don't see your favorite bowling venue on our list? Submit a write-in nominee by emailing your pick to nancy.clanton@ajc.com.

If enough people suggest your favorite spot, we’ll add it to our poll.
