Michael Bryan, the son of singer Marie Osmond, was laid to rest Monday in Provo, Utah. Here, a white hearse and limousine leave the Provo temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after the funeral, on its way to a graveside service.

Michael Bryan, 18 years old, died Feb. 26. Bryan was memorialized by six of his seven siblings as a lighthearted person and a deep thinker who had a brilliant sense of humor and a kind, generous heart.

Donny Osmond, right, talks with an unidentified mourner. At the graveside service's opening prayer, Donny broke into tears, saying, "Bless my sister. Bless my sister and her family."

In brief remarks, Marie Osmond expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers she said she's felt since Bryan's death.

Balloons inscribed with messages are prepared for release at the graveside service.

At the end of the graveside service, mourners released the balloons.
