Stars attend Nate Dogg's funeral service in L.A.

Nate Dogg poses for a photograph during arrivals to the BET Comedy Awards at the Pasadena Civic Center in Pasadena, Calif.in 2004. Dogg, whose near monotone crooning anchored some of rap's most seminal songs and helped define the sound of West coast hip-hop, has died at the age of 41. He had been plagued by legal and health problems, including at least two strokes in 2008.

Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg collaborated multiple times during their respective music careers. He has established a memorial trust fund for the family.
