Jeffrey Chodorow and Jean-Georges Vongerichten are two of the well-known restaurateurs who have opened versions of their New York restaurants south of the Mason-Dixon line, and we look at how Spice Market and Maxim Prime compare to the originals. Maxim Prime resembles a cheesy bordello more than Chodorow's New York restaurant Kobe Club. For starters, the bar is backlit with LED screens adorned with leaves and snakes.
