Migos have been teasing their long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s “Culture II.” As social distancing amid the coronavirus continues, the Lawrenceville natives have lots of time on their hands to continue recording their third album, “Culture III.”
Quavo told Billboard that's exactly what he and his nephew, Takeoff, and cousin, Offset, have been doing as they "simplify" movements by sticking to home and the recording studio.

“We’ve been spending most of our time working in the studio working on our ‘Culture III’ album and going back to the house and staying away, playing games and spending, like, three, four hours on ‘Call of Duty’ and back to the studio,” he said.
Quavo, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, acknowledged the pace of the business has slowed since the coronavirus pandemic emerged.
“Dropping music and all that, it's at a standstill right now with us because we need to go out there and touch the people to push our albums to make our music work,” he said.

Marshall also said Migos are taking precautions through hand-washing and staying away from crowds while the members keep their eye on the news.
"Culture III" has been one of the most anticipated albums of the year. Speaking to Business Insider last year, Marshall said fans can expect to see a new side of the group.
“I feel like it's more about Migos that y'all don't know yet,” he said. “And I feel like this album is going to be prolific. I feel like this album is going to be the album to do it. And I think it's ‘Culture III,’ but I don't know. I think we may change the chapter.”
