“Wow Jus WATCH MY FIRST HORROR FILM I PRODUCED,” he said of his movie, “The Resort.” After teasing the flick is “coming soon,” Quavo thanked William Meldman, the founder and CEO of Double Down Pictures.

Meldman was editing Quavo’s production debut in March. He shared a photo of his progress on Instagram, writing, “Having a blast in the editing bay with the squad today 🎬 #TheResortMovie #ComingSoon #Casamigos in the studio.”

Quavo shared his interest in filmmaking on Beats 1 in 2017.

"I always been watching my favorite musicians doing movies — they used to do that a lot in the ‘90s. So, I’m a ’90s baby and all my favorite movies got all my dope artists in ’em,” he said after fellow Migos member Offset explained Quavo was writing a script for the group’s upcoming movie.

Quavo has ventured outside of music before. In August, he announced plans to develop an animated kids series based on Atlanta’s hip-hop culture.

Earlier this year, he announced he was collaborating with U.K. clothier boohooMAN on a clothing line inspired by his eclectic style and colorful personality.
