Patrick Swayze dies of pancreatic cancer

Actor Patrick Swayze, who made a name for himself starring in "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost," has died. He was 57.

"Ghost" featured one very sexy scene between Swayze and Demi Moore that has been parodied in years since. He received a Golden Globe nomination for the movie, one of three in his career.

Swayze, with his wife, Lisa, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1997, 10 years after the release of "Dirty Dancing."

Swayze made a name for himself when he starred with Jennifer Grey in "Dirty Dancing." He also co-wrote and sang the theme song "She's Like the Wind."

Patrick Swayze has died at age 57. He had been suffering from pancreatic cancer.
