"I have been sober for three and a quarter years," the rock star said in a statement to E! on Monday. "I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate."

Ozzy's comments came a few days after reports claimed that his wife decided to leave him after he relapsed into drug and alcohol abuse.

Many speculated in 2013 that the couple was headed for divorce after Ozzy admitted to relapsing, but the singer reportedly saved his marriage by attending daily AA meetings. He said he's been sober ever since then.

spokesperson for the Osbournes confirmed to Rolling Stone over the weekend that Ozzy is "not in the marital home." E! reported that the Black Sabbath frontman is staying with a member of his family.

Further details about the split are still unclear.

Ozzy was seen wearing his wedding ring Monday while walking his dog near Los Angeles.

That same day, Sharon was absent from "The Talk."

"As we get started, Sharon is not here today," her co-host Jule Chen said. "There were many tabloid headlines of her and Ozzy, rumors and speculations that they have split up after nearly 34 years of marriage. Sharon understandably took today off, and we are sending all of our love to her and to her family. And we ask that you do the same."
