Ne-Yo puts new rhythm to 'Friend Like Me'

An eclectic slate of stars is giving a new sound to some Disney classic songs.
Ne-Yo is just one of the big names announced during the D23 Expo held over the weekend in Anaheim, California, Entertainment Weekly reported.
He's singing "Friend Like Me," the hit song sung by Robin Williams in Disney's "Aladdin," on the new compilation album "We Love Disney."
Gwen Stefani, Kacey Musgraves and Jason Derulo are also featured.
Ne-Yo is no stranger to singing Disney songs. He was featured on the "Princess and the Frog" soundtrack, performing the song "Never Knew I Needed>"
The new album drops on Oct. 30 and will, of course, include "Let It Go" from "Frozen."
