Pop star Justin Bieber gave his screaming legions of fans a scare Thursday night when he took a nasty-looking fall while performing at a packed venue in Canada.

The Biebs was adjusting his pants while walking down a mostly darkened stage at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon when he suddenly vanished.

He recovered quickly and went on with the show.

Fans posted videos of the fall on social media.

"Good thing I'm like a cat and I landed on my feet," Bieber told the crowd. "That scared the (expletive) out of me."

He fell into a hole in the stage, the CBC reported. Bieber and his dancers rose up from the holes during his performance, according to the news station.

Still, he qualified the show as a success.

It's not the first time Bieber has taken a spill on his Purpose World Tour. He fell in a puddle of water while performing in April during the tour's stop in Kansas City, Missouri.

He quickly recovered from that fall, too.
