Migos’ Quavo previews new track ahead of ‘Culture 3’ release

The full song, called ‘Taco Tuesday,’ will be released on  Cinco de Mayo

Migos Music Facts Migos' original group name was Polo Club. They inspired a limited-edition Popeyes Chicken menu delivered by Uber Eats. Takeoff, Offset and Quavo have all had solo success. Offset is married to fellow rapper Cardi B. In 2018, they broke their own record for the most simultaneous hits on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart.

Fans eager for new music from Lawrenceville’s Migos are in luck as Quavo recently provided a preview of a song from the new album.

The name of the track is "Taco Tuesday" and the clip dropped on Instagram Wednesday ahead of Cinco de Mayo, an American celebration filled with tacos and other Mexican-derived eats.

The link wasn’t lost on Quavo, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, as he mentioned the upcoming holiday in his Instagram caption.

“Taco Tuesday,” he captioned the Triller social app video with a taco emoji. “Next Tuesday We Going Up Cinco De Mayo!!! #TacoTuesday.”

That caption indicates fans can expect to hear the track in full on May 5.

The accompanying video sees Quavo and his girlfriend, fellow rapper Saweetie, grubbing on tacos and acting out various portions of the lyrics.

“Taco Tuesday, I got the cheese / She tasting the Kool-Aid / Migos the plug Guadeloupe / She gonna do what the group say comprende / Caliente, she get the bag, but she gotta get it 10 ways,” Migos rapped in the clip.

Quavo uploaded the video a day after a snippet of the track leaked online. Whether it's from Migos' highly-anticipated "Culture 3" album or their so-called quarantine mixtape is unclear.

The mixtape is something Migos has been working on as fans wait for the group’s next studio release.

"Quarantine Mixtape?? Jus To Keep Y'all Straight. Then Culture 3. When All This Is Over!" Quavo tweeted April 3. He also noted the mixtape would be released "ASAP."

In March, he told Billboard magazine Migos has been spending the majority of their time in the recording studio working on "Culture 3" amid the pandemic.
