After his unceremonious exit from Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham is moving on with a planned solo tour.
The North American tour starts Oct. 7 in Portland, Oregon. Tickets go on sale Aug. 18. Rolling Stone reported that some presales will be available.
Every ticket purchase includes a CD or digital copy of Buckingham's upcoming "Solo Anthology: The Best of Lindsey Buckingham." The three-disc set -- as well as a single-disc compilation -- will be released Oct. 5 in CD and digital form. On Nov. 23, Buckingham will release a six-LP vinyl.
The collection features live and alternate versions of songs from Buckingham’s solo albums, including “Law and Order,” “Go Insane” and “Gift of Screws,” as well as work from his recent collaboration with former bandmate Christine McVie.
Buckingham’s movie music contributions, such as “Holiday Road” and “Time Bomb Town,” are also included.
