Leibovitz's lens helps Disney 'Dream'

Mark Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are among the celebrities Annie Leibovitz is shooting as part of Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign.

Photographer Annie Leibovitz (right) added Ariel, the Little Mermaid, to her portfolio with a Disney photo shoot starring Julianne Moore (left). Here they discuss the shoot in New York.

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps also stars in the Leibovitz photo illustration of "The Little Mermaid."

The photos were taken last year for Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign.

Leibovitz had Jennifer Lopez and her husband pose as Jasmine and Aladdin from the movie "Aladdin." The images began appearing in March.

This photo illustration shows Lopez and Anthony soaring through the Arabian night in part two of a dream scene entitled 'Where a Whole New World Awaits.'

Whoopi Goldberg and a monkey wait on the set for their session with Leibovitz, who says of the project, 'It's thrilling to have an opportunity to re-create the characters we all loved as children.'

In this photo illustration, the first part of the 'Where a Whole New World Awaits' dream scene, Goldberg portrays the Genie from 'Aladdin.' Her 'Comic Relief' co-host, Robin Willliams, voiced the Genie in the movie.

Actress Jessica Biel, who stars as Pocahontas, has makeup applied prior to her October shoot with Leibovitz in Cold Springs, N.Y.

Biel strikes a pose. Leibovitz convinced other celebrities to participate, including Scarlett Johansson, Beyonce Knowles, Rachel Weisz, Lyle Lovett, Oliver Platt, David Beckham, Roger Federer and Julie Andrews (though not as Mary Poppins).

Biel portrayed Pocahontas in an image titled 'Where Dreams Run Free.' In an interview with USA Today, Leibovitz said, 'princesses had to be dealt with' because her 5-year-old daughter's favorite character is Cinderella.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen was another of the celebrities Leibovitz shot for a "Peter Pan" scene.

Bundchen portrays Wendy Darling, Tina Fey is Tinker Bell and Baryshnikov plays Peter Pan in the scene 'Where You Never Have to Grow Up.'
