Youth Art Club
Sorry, parents, this one is just for the kids. The Youth Art Club at Seven Arts Center is a chance for young Picassos and Pollocks to discover the world of art and design first-hand. Groups are divided according to age — one for ages 5 through 9 and the other ages 10 through 15 — and each young artist is given the tools and instructions to create their own personal masterpieces. Advance registration is required, and all supplies will be provided. Complimentary snacks also will be served during the 90-minute session.

Glenn Phillips Band featuring Cindy Wilson
Glenn Phillips is a renowned guitarist with more than 40 years of entertainment experience. Though mainly a solo artist, he has worked with notable big names — including Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and Pete Buck of R.E.M. For this show, he’s teaming up with Cindy Wilson of the B-52’s to perform songs of their own as well as B-52’s numbers. Two shows are planned, and table seats are available online at a discount.

Marvel Universe Live!
Put Spider-Man, the Avengers and the X-Men in one place, and the result is bound to be something, well, marvel-ous. All the heroes from the famed comic book franchise are teaming up to defeat Loki once again in this two-act, live action performance. Look for plenty of special effects, aerial stunts, noisy explosions and roaring motorcycles. But watching Bruce Banner transform into the Hulk before your eyes may be the best reason to be in the audience. And it’s not all good guys; Loki will be joined by villains such as the Green Goblin, the Sinister Six and the Red Skull.
