On Labor Day 1955, the first Waffle House restaurant opened, forever changing Atlanta's dining landscape.

Now, 60 years later, there are more than 1,500 locations offering diners everything from their signature waffle, to Bert's famous chili — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

While you probably won't give it a second thought after placing your order at the iconic restaurant — arguably the best in Atlanta — what you select may say more about you than you think.
