Q. My husband loves Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q, especially the BBQ beans. I have no idea how to make them. Please ask if they will share the recipe.

Pat Garrett, Powder Springs

A. The BBQ beans served at all three locations of Williamson Bros. take some simple baked beans and dress them up with two things the restaurants have plenty of – barbecue sauce and chopped pork. Add a little mustard and a little onion and you’ve got a dish so popular you can buy it to go by the pint, quart or gallon. Owners Danny and Larry Williamson suggest that if you don’t have chopped barbecue pork on hand, and aren’t close enough to one of their restaurants to buy a half pound to make this dish, you can substitute chopped baked pork chops. But there’s no reason not to use their barbecue sauce since you can buy it at the restaurants or at Kroger, Publix, Ingles, Sam’s Club or BJ’s Wholesale Club.
