Todd Gurley was a UGA Bulldog for three years, but now you can call him “Cat Dude.”

During an interview last year, Gurley admittted he doesn't like dogs. "I love cats, though. Cats are so cool. Actually, I'm probably gonna get some this year," he told Sam Alipour with ESPN Magazine.

When Alipour asked if Gurley would become a “crazy cat lady,” the NFL player responded, “Yeah, I’ll be Cat Dude.”

It took him about a year, but he finally adopted a feline friend.

On August 14, Gurley tweeted a video of the cat, asking for tips from his followers.

Just five days later, the Rams running back announced his cat had an Instagram account and a deal with Hulu. Mr. Hulu Has Live Sports is already verified with that little blue check mark.

Sure, it's an ad, but Mr. Hulu Has Live Sports is cute and entertaining. His Instagram posts include videos of grabbing footballs — and "getting that Hulu meowney" — as well as photos of him with Gurley.

Gurley starred as a running back for the University of Georgia 2012-14, and was selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft. He now plays for the Los Angeles Rams.

In July, Haute Living magazine celebrated Gurley being its latest cover model. According to the magazine's website, "The evening honored Gurley's already incredibly impressive accomplishments at a mere 24 years old, as the highest-paid running back in the NFL."

And from all the posts of Mr. Hulu Has Live Sports, Gurley’s cat might soon be the highest paid spokeskitty.
