“Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” is returning to television this time, in a reboot on Netflix.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix is revamping the popular computer game series and, instead of being a children's game show, the program will be an animated series.

Gina Rodriguez, known for starring on the CW sitcom “Jane the Virgin,” will be voicing the iconic lead.

Rodriguez teased the news in some tweets Friday and Sunday and confirmed the news with Netflix Tuesday.

Variety reported that an earlier animates series called "Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?" aired 40 episodes between 1994 and 1998. Netflix ordered 20 22-minute episodes of the new series, which will look at Carmen Sandiego's past and why she became a jewel thief. It will also follow her travels stealing items.

“Carmen Sandiego” is premiering on Netflix in 2019.
