“What’s up my beautiful fans,” the one-time “Love and Hip-Hop: New York” star said in a video. “So let me tell you something, I’ve been getting a lot of DMs of people in need and me and Fashion Nova, we came up with a way that we are going to give out $1,000 an hour for the next 42 days.”

Cardi B, whose given name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, has launched two clothing lines with Fashion Nova since 2018. She added in the video that she and the retailer’s charity arm are “are so thankful that you guys have been supporting us for so long. It’s time for us to support you guys back.”

She also assured fans that the money will help people in need.

As a community-driven brand, we are inspired by the kindness and generosity of others and we wanted to do our part to help those in need.”
