Billy Porter may soon be taking on a magical role.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Porter is currently in talks to join Sony's reimagining of "Cinderella." Sources told THR that Porter is on board to play the "movie musical's resident fairy godmother."

The Emmy-winning “Pose” star would join pop singer Camila Cabello, who's taking on the titular role of Cinderella, a pauper-turned-princess.

“Blockers” filmmaker Kay Cannon is set to direct the film, and James Corden, who came up with the idea for the project, will be producing it.

Porter, who recently won an Emmy for his role as Pray Tell on FX's “Pose,” will soon be seen in the Paramount comedy “Like a Boss,” starring Tiffany Haddish.
