Beer Geek Carnival at Cypress Pint and Plate

It was that time of the year once again.

Time for a very special edition of Beer Geek Tuesday at Cypress Street Pint and Plate.

Time for good carnival eats and cold beer. What's not to like?

The 2nd Annual Beer Geek Carnival featured ice cold Clown Shoes Beer on draught, carnival themed fare and performances by the Imperial OPA circus troop. Aerialists, jugglers and stilt walkers wowed the packed patio and as evening fell, fire dancers and jugglers added another round of excitement.

Guests enjoyed made to order funnel cakes, fried Oreos, and mini corn-dogs while a patio-side dunk tank gave Cypress’ staff and guests the opportunity to prove their accuracy and dunk Cypress Street co-owner and managing partner Billy Streck, general manager Ryan Crocker, and executive chef Richard Silvey.

In true Beer Geek Tuesday fashion, Cypress Street’s resident beer guru, Rob Merrick, was on hand to help the beer-curious pair the featured Clown Shoes brews with Cypress' classic carnival food specials.
