It’s officially that time of year when we struggle to pick just 10 can’t-miss events for our monthly roundup.
This month the Braves will begin to play in their new ballpark and superstars like Ariana Grande, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will perform in concert.
Whether you’re entertaining guests from out of town or just planning a night out for yourself, here are our suggestions for things to do throughout April:
“Pete the Cat” at Center for Puppetry Arts
Cat lovers and families alike are sure to enjoy the Center for Puppetry Arts’ production of “Pete the Cat,” based on the series created by illustrator James Dean. Atlanta native Eric Litwin wrote the original book in the series, “Pete the Cat: I Love my White Shoes.”

Atlanta Hawks’ “Swipe Right Night”
The Atlanta Hawks will once again host a Tinder-themed “Swipe Right Night” this year. The event will take place April 6 during the Atlanta team’s game against the Boston Celtics. R&B singer Monica will provide musical entertainment.
