The Georgia Aquarium plans a significant expansion in 2020 according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The addition will include a new entrance and additional exhibit space, according to the Chronicle's report.

The attraction would expand at the southeast corner of the aquarium property, along Baker Street where the main entrance is today.

When it opened in 2005, the Georgia Aquarium was the world's largest at the time. It has become the anchor for a vigorous expansion of tourist facilities downtown.
