The latest Marvel installment, “Avengers: Endgame,” has broken records everywhere. Now, the superhero flick is pushing metro Atlanta theaters to break some records by staying open around the clock to air the film from Thursday until Sunday.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, AMC Theaters announced the blockbuster is being added to round-the-clock showings at nearly 30 theaters. In metro Atlanta, AMC Southlake 24, AMC Parkway Pointe 15 and AMC DINE-IN North Point Mall 12 will all show "Endgame," a climax of sorts to the 21 previous titles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be open from Thursday morning all the way through Sunday night.

“With a desire to satisfy as many Marvel fans as possible on Thursday and through the weekend, AMC’s programming team is reviewing ticket sales theater by theater and adding showtimes later and later. In fact, there are multiple AMC locations that will be operating around the clock from Thursday night through Sunday," Elizabeth Frank, AMC executive vice president of worldwide programming, said Monday in a statement.
Last year, AMC Theaters hosted a 12-film Marvel Cinematic Universe marathon on April 25, which lasted 31 hours and included an early screening of "Avengers: Infinity War."
