Living in Atlanta isn't as cheap as it used to be. With workers' pay not keeping up with the cost of living, finding a cheap neighborhood in our state's capital can be tough. If you're not interested in commuting from Smyrna or Marietta, two of Georgia's most affordable cities, here are some neighborhoods rated as most affordable by Movado.com.
Keep in mind as you research, as the neighborhoods popularity begins to increase so do the prices. "A lot of the intown markets have rapidly become less affordable as younger, more affluent families have moved intown so they can be walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, etc," said Ben Kubic, CEO at Virgent Realty.
